Build Style Information
Objective of this module is to create a Build Style for a Single Product to be manufactured. The manufacturer can know the exact requirement and cost of the requirement from this module

Business Process
This module deals with the input needed to manufacture a Product. For example, Stones required, Materials, Casting, Plating and Labor Charges required to manufacture a particular Ring. This module also deals with the Cost Sheet which tells the User the information of the Complete Cost and the selling Cost. By this the user knows what is the Net Profit which he will get by manufacturing a particular Product.

how to create a Build Style?

Since the product to be manufactured, the details are collected to build a particular product.
Style No , Price, Description, Date, Category, Sub Category.

Tthe Product to be manufactured is take a print out. Then the User has to enter the details of Stones required, Casting, Plating and Labor Charges required to manufacture a particular product.

 

Stones required
In this section, the required stones, quantity required, price etc., are stored to make a particular product.

Casting required
In this section, details of casting i.e. quantity of material like Gold, Silver etc with their weight, price etc., are stored to make a particular product.

Plating for the Product:
In this Section, the plating information such as the thickness, price and color are stored to make a particular product.

Labor Charges:
Labor charges to make a particular product are stored in this section. For details, please see the Labor charges in the Functionalities of this module.

Cost Sheet:
The consolidated "Material Costing" and "Profit and Costing" for a particular Product are shown in the Cost Sheet which will help the User to see how much Profit he has got in manufacturing the particular Product.

Functionalities

Stone Information

The manufacturer has to specify how many stones and their information which is required to create a Style (Product) in this catagory.

a) StoneName denotes "Shape, Size and Material of a particular stone"
b) Quantity denotes "How many stones manufacturer require to create a particular Style (Product)"
c) Based on denotes "The condition where manufacturer select either Carat or Piece. If manufacturer selects the "Carat", he has to enter the weight of the stone required in the Carat column. If the manufacturer selects the "Piece", he has to enter the Quantity of the stones required in the Qty Column"
d) Per Set denotes ""
h) Total denotes "This column either contains the Carat or Quantity"
i) Price denotes "Cost of the stone to create a particular Style (Product)"
j) Total Value denotes "Total * Price"
k) Sub Total denotes "Total of all Total "

 

Casting Information

In this section, manufacturer has to specify how much of material (Gold, Silver etc.,) and their information which is required to create a Style (Product)

a) Material denotes "the how much of Gold, Silver etc., are required to create a particular Style"
b) Weight denotes "How many grams require to create a particular Style (Product)"
c) Mode denotes "The condition where manufacturer select either Carat or Weight. If manufacturer selects the "Carat", he has to enter the weight of the material required in the Carat column. If the manufacturer selects the "Weight", he has to enter the Grams of the material required in the Qty Column"
d) Rate/Gram denotes "What's the price for a material per gram"
e) Price denotes "Rate/Gram * Carat or Weight"
f) Vendor denotes "Which vendor is going to supply the particular material"
g) Sub Total denotes "Total of all Price "

 

Plating Information

The manufacturer has to specify what is the cost of shaping the material to make it has a finished product.

a) Thickness denotes "What is the thickness of the material which is going to be shaped - 2mm, 3mm etc"
b) Color denotes "Which color is the material"
c) Price denotes "What is the cost of making a specified Thickness "

 

Labor Charges Information

In this section, manufacturer has to specify what are all the Labor charges of the stones that has to be fixed for the particular Style No. to make it has a finished product. In this section, it is divided into 2 parts.

The first part
The "Total" column of this part is the total value of the Number of various stones, description of those stones, Rate of those stones and Amount (Rate * Tot Stones) which is used to create a particular product. The "total" column of this part is the Total Amount the stones which is used to create a particular Style (Product).

The second part
The each "Amount" column of the 2nd part should come from the each entered row of the first part of the section. Then, the Amount column of the 2nd part should be totaled and grand total should be displayed in the Total column of the 2nd Part.

 

Cost Sheet

In this section, manufacturer has to specify what are all the Labor charges of the stones that has to be fixed for the particular Style No. to make it has a finished product. In this section, it is divided into 2 parts.

Material Costing is the Total of the Stones Cost, Casting Cost, Plating Cost and Labor Cost Profit and Costing is the Profit of the manufacturer by comparing the Selling and Complete Cost. It also displays the Net profit in Amount and %.
